Florian Schieferdecker obtained his degree in "International Economics" at the University of Göttingen in 2005. During his studies he spent one academic semester at the University of Talca in Chile and another at the University of Geneva in Switzerland. In 2005 he joined the chair of Prof. Regina T. Riphahn, Ph.D. at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg as a research assistant.
